WRITE YOUR GRIEF
An 8 week Creative Non-Fiction Course
After a successful BETA this Spring, I am thrilled to launch WRITE YOUR GRIEF, an 8 week creative non-fiction course, this coming September.
Writing is a powerful tool for processing, and giving yourself permission to write however the mood strikes, in whatever form sparks you, and connect your life to your imagination is healing in motion.

Take a look at some of the benefits here.

“Writing is an exploration. You start from nothing and learn as you go.” –E. L. Doctorow
In a small, intimate group, we will write together, share, witness each other and be witnessed.
I'll guide you with prompts and forms. Everything is open, everything is available to you.
“Writing means sharing. It’s part of the human condition to want to share things—thoughts, ideas, opinions.” –Paulo Coelho
At the end of the course, I will compile your pieces, help you edit them and with your permission, publish them in a reflection journal, illuminated by art work from the incredible Jaya Modi, with blank pages for deeper contemplation and connection to your loss, your grief, but mostly, to yourself.
“I can shake off everything as I write; my sorrows disappear, my courage is reborn.” Anne Frank

“Write hard and clear about what hurts.” Ernest Hemingway

Some very nice things others have said:

I am inspired by Rachels prompts to share what is on my mind, in my heart and what is going on in the present or past. The group is open to anyone who wishes to share, listen and respond. I love this focused time, it is inspiring, supportive and non judgmental, just what I need.

Rachel's thoughtful writing prompts, her kind spirit, and her skillful facilitation provided the perfect container for all of us to courageously dive deep and bring up important learning from our own depths and at the same time witness this in each other. Her joy of writing and her desire to share its rewards with others is palatable.
